Joshua L. Scaiano, age 41, of Crystal, MN, went to be with his Lord Jesus after a 4 year battle with Isolated Central Nervous System Vasculitis. Josh was born to Roger and Becky on April 21st, 1977 in Dayton, Ohio. After great persistence, he graduated high school by earning his GED later in life. He worked 19 years at Broadway Rental in Brooklyn Park, MN as a small engines mechanic and was still convinced he worked there just one week ago, despite his massive brain injuries! He enjoyed cars, disc golf, movies and gaming, but mostly spending time with family & friends. Josh loved music! The variety of genres were endless and believe it or not, one of his favorite artist was Celine Dion. He had such a huge heart and was the most loving man; a big teddy bear ! J osh is preceded in death by his grandpa Higgins, "Granny" Meadows, Grandma Perkins, & just one short year ago, his father, Roger E. Scaiano. He is survived by his 90 year old Grandpa Perkins, mother Becky & step-father, Scott. Brothers; Jaime (Doris), David & Chris (Tammy) and sister Beth. Step-sister Sheila (Aaron) & step-brother Allen (Carrie). Also by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews, including 4 great nieces . A visitation will be held on Sunday , July 15th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Thurston-Deshaw Funeral Home in Andover, MN. A memorial service will be held Monday, July the 16th at 11:00 am at Oak Haven Church in Ham Lake, MN with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 . A luncheon will be provided to follow, including one of Josh's favorite beverages, ROOTBEER!
