Swetland, Joseph J. age 94, of East Bethel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Feb. 4, 2015. He was preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Patty Ann; daughter-in-law, Patricia Swetland; sisters, Margaret, Virginia and Elizabeth "Betty"' great-grandson, Justin. Survived by children, David, Mary, Joseph (Kathie); 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and sister, Josephine. Visitation Monday from 5-8 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW., Andover. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10 AM with reviewal one hour prior at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 19921 Nightingale St. NW, Cedar. Burial at Church of St. Mary's Cemetery in Willmar. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Anoka County Food Shelf.
