Caine, Jonathon T. a lifelong resident of Anoka, MN, passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on April 12, 2023. Jon was born in Minneapolis on July 21, 1947. He graduated from Anoka High School in 1965, and later was the first graduate of Anoka Hennepin Jr. College. Jon worked for Stanway Excavating in Blaine for many years. Jon loved music and performed in a local Rock 'n' Roll band with his good friends Danny Chase and Ray Axelson. He also had an interest in audio visual and amassed a large collection of family videos and motion pictures. Jon was an avid reader and enjoyed working with computers. He married Mary Gesch on December 31, 1990, and they have lived in Anoka on the Mississippi River since that time. Jon was preceded in death by his father William H. Caine and his mother Molly W. Caine. He is survived by his wife Mary, brother Jeff (Nancy), sister Jill Peavey (Mark), along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A private ceremony will be held for his immediate family at a later date. Memorials can be sent to the charity of your choice in Jon's name or plant a tree in his memory.
