John Leighton Washburn, Jr., age 65 of Anoka, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at his home.

John was preceded in death by his father, John L. (Jack) Washburn.  He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Washburn; sister, Rhonda (Michael) Charboneau; brother, Corbin Washburn; friend, Steven George; niece, Carlee (Kevin) Carney; nephews, Tyler and Max Washburn, and John Charboneau; great-nephews, Jack and Reed Carney; also many relatives and friends.

The Memorial Service for John has been postponed.  Date and time will be announced when determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ), Midwest Animal Rescue & Services ( www.midwestanimalrescue.org ), or a charity of the donor's choice.
