Walter, John R. age 79 of Anoka.  Passed away peacefully at home 1/3/2020.  He served his clients thru John R. Walter & Associates for 58 years.  Preceded in death by daughter, Angela.  Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Edie; daughters, Lisa (David) Baird, Susan (Mike) Weddle and Joy (Mark) Hess; grandchildren, Maia Walter, Lauren, Colin, Jane and Zach Baird, Alexis and Cali Weddle, Alaina Hess; brother, Dick Walter; many other loving family and friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held Monday (1/13/2020) 11 AM at First Baptist Church of Anoka, 1235 Park St.  Visitation Sunday (1/12/2020) 3-5 PM and one hour prior to service, all at the church.  Private interment Forest Hill Cemetery.  Memorials preferred to Fishing for Life.  Arrangements entrusted to Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka, 763-421-0220
