John C. Schonhardt, age 92 of Battle Lake, formerly of Anoka, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Battle Lake Good Samaritan Center.

John was preceded in death by his son, Pat; grandson, Shawn; and 4 brothers.  He is survived by his children, Mike (Wanda), Tom (Ruth), Sue (Tim) Kopp, and Dan (Deb), and their mother, Betty Schonhardt; grandchildren, Michael, Chelsea, Kael, Reece, Taran, Jessica, Katie, Jenny, Jason, Timmy, Tommy, Danny, Tricia, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Leila, Sage, Jade, Kassandra, Evan, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Addie, Everette, Jessi, and Jaxon; great-great-grandson, William Patrick; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to Mass at church on Friday (9:00 - 10:00 a.m.)  Interment Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
