O'Loughlin, John T. "Terry" age 77, of Oak Grove, passed away at the University of MN Hospital on Dec. 15, 2015 due to complications from pulmonary fibrosis. Terry was a Northome School graduate in 1956 and he left home shortly after to join the Army, spending time in Tokyo and becoming an atomic war veteran. His heart brought him back to Northome which he always considered home. Raising his family in the Twin Cities, he was a life long musician, returning to Northome often playing in the band at Wild Wood Days, hunting deer and spending time in the North woods. He was known as one to love chocolate, tell stories, jokes and talk about how incredible his grandchildren were to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Valla O'Loughlin and by his brothers, Jim and Kenny. Survived by wife, Joyce; children, Tim, Shaun, Dee Dee (Greg), Teri (Troy Skog) Fletcher and Kara; 11 grandchildren; siblings, Carole (Earle), Faye, Wayne (June); many relatives and countless friends.
