Hovan, John J. "Skip" age 73, of Ramsey, passed away Oct. 26, 2016 after an 8-year battle with Lewy-Body Dementia. Preceded in death by his father, John G. Hovan. Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Linda; children, Michael (Lisa) Hovan, Laura Walescheck, Julie Allen, Dave (Lori) Pelowski and Kristen (Alvie) Fritsinger; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; mother, Camilla Hovan; sister, Yvonne (Dave) Raymond; nieces & nephews. Funeral service Monday, Oct. 31, 2016 at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave S., Anoka. Interment Crystal Lake Cemetery, Mpls. Visitation 9:30 AM until time of service at the church only. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Skip was employed at Murphy Motor Freight Lines, Cigna Insurance Co. and Aon Risk Services.
