Anderson, Joeseph Donald "Joey" age 20, of Anoka, MN.  Beloved son, brother and grandson passed away tragically on Friday, April 6.  Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, John.  Survived by loving mother, Kim Yamauchi (Mohamed) and father, Wade (Layna); sister, Ashley; brothers, Mitchell, Abdallah, Noah, Kyle, Jake and Ryan; maternal grandparents, Chris (Denny); paternal grandmother, Kathie; uncle, Donald (Kristy); aunts, Alana (Eismael), Tonya (Paul), Tammy (Chris), Kim (Tom), Deanna; life-long friend, Colten Stark; Facebook wife, Bailey Amundson; many cousins and friends.

Joey was born on May 28, 1997 in Coon Rapids, MN.  While growing up in Anoka, Joey enjoyed playing football and loved baseball even more.  He had a love for the outdoors, swimming, fishing and hunting.  Joey graduated from Anoka Senior High in 2015.  He worked alongside his dad and other family members.  Joey's witty personality had a way about bringing laughter to the jobsites.  He will be forever remembered for his hair and contagious smile.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka, with visitation one hour prior to service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)
