Westervelt, Joann K. age 66 of Park Rapids formerly of Champlin. She passed away peacefully December 27, 2015. She was an avid quilter who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a retired RN from Mercy Hospital. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Tom; and children, Jeff (Nicolle) and Ryan (Melissa); grandchildren, Allie, Sophie, Wyatt and Maggie; parents, Phyllis and Vernon Williamson; sister, Diane (Doug) Rahn; many other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2015 at 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.
