Obituary
Joan A Peterson, 83, of Ramsey, MN, passed away on July 29th.
Joan was born on March 8th, 1939, in Minneapolis, MN.
She grew up in McGregor, MN where she met Daryl C Peterson. They wed on August 15, 1959 and were married for 39 years. Joan worked at the Sportsman's Club and The Seasons, as a waitress for several years. She also edited her own newsletter for a political party, worked at a printing shop, and various assembly positions at Minco, Control Data, and Medtronic.
Joan enjoyed fishing and hunting with her family, even having to shoot a black bear that was charging at her once. She was known for her kindness, generosity and great sense of humor. She loved to cook, celebrating holidays, and really loved her pet cats. Joan was very close to her grandsons as well. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter Terri Kubat, and son Anthony Peterson; grandsons Calvin and Spencer (Deanna) Kubat; niece Kelli Dooher; and several nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Daryl; her parents, Fred Alexander and Evelyn Kirsch; her grand parents, Cal and Louise Abbott; her sister Karen Johnson; and son in law, Mark Kubat.
