Joan Phyllis Jedlicka (Seibert), 89 of Park Rapids, MN, formerly of Anoka MN, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Joan was born on September 4, 1932 in Maple Grove, MN to Walter and Ida Seibert. She married George Jedlicka on July 11, 1953. She was a devoted mother. Joan loved being behind the sewing machine and her family treasured her homemade gifts. She maintained beautiful flower gardens, painted wildlife pictures, collected dolls, finding trinkets at garage sales and she loved cats. Stray cats would end up finding her house and she would take them in.

Joan was preceded in death by her toddler son, Steven and infant baby, Michael. Joan is survived by her 2 children, Diane (Jim) Novack of Park Rapids, Joseph (Julie) Jedlicka of Baxter; 4 grandchildren, Amanda and Mike Novack, Kristina (Derek) Olson, Jennifer Jedlicka; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Betty) Seibert and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, (12/21/2021) with a visitation from 10AM – 11AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, 763-421-0220.
