Jo Ann L. Wilber, age 70 of Aitkin, formerly of Andover, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.

Jo Ann was born on January 14, 1948 in Fridley, Minnesota.  During high school, she dated a charming and handsome fella named Harold and later wed on June 6, 1964.  As the family started to grow, they relocated to Andover, MN and purchased their first home. During their first years of Marriage they were junking cars and selling parts. Their dream came true and established Wilber Auto Parts in the 1970's.

Her family, friends, and community were the most important in her life. Jo Ann will be remembered as kind, compassionate and generous to all those around her. Jo Ann always knew what was going on and she was always there for you.  Jo Ann enjoyed visiting their Florida home during the cold winter months but she truly looked forward to returning home to be with family and friends.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by parents, Leonard E and Doris L. (Adams) Bergman; granddaughter Kailey;  brother, Bruce; and nephews, Jeffre and Wade. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Harold; children, Jerry (Mary), Michelle (Rodney) Simonson, Tammy, and Jodi (Jason Spencer); grandchildren, Tara, Jennifer, Stacy, Stephanie, Alysaa, RJ (Rodney), Kristi, Brandon and Daymon; great-grandchildren, Karisa, Raymond, Khloe, Oliver, Landon, Henry, Allie and Franklin; brother, Doug (Sharon); niece, Brigitte; and nephew, Ben; relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment.
