Jerry D. Shebetka age 88 of Elk River. Jerry worked as a licensed diesel mechanic for 25 years, dedicating his career to skilled craftsmanship and hard work. Even after retirement he could often be found spending countless hours in his shop, continuing to do what he loved most.  Jerry had a deep passion for collecting and restoring antique washing machines, a hobby that reflected both his mechanical talent and appreciation for history. He also enjoyed deer hunting, riding motorcycles and the thrill of buying and selling at swap meets. He was a member of the Nowthen Historical Power Association.  Preceded in death by parents Anton & Elsie Shebetka and Glen Westphal. Survived by his wife Florence, children Terry (Duane) Gregory, Lori (Ron) Olund, Sandy (Randy) Bair, Jennifer Audette, Lanny (Mary) Westphal, Nancy (Shawn) Norton and Diane (Yuri Potapenko) Baima, daughter-in-law Cindy Westphal, 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Marlene Kraus and Judy Seago. Memorial Services Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 11 am at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka. Visitation one hour prior to services. Luncheon to floow at Zion Lutheran Church.
