Griese, Jerry L. age 54 of Anoka went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2021. Jerry was very creative in building things around the house, he took pride in his garden and cooked all the meals. He loved spending time with his family, camping, going to movies, antiquing, and celebrating the Holidays together. Present wrapping will never be the same. Jerry worked at a woodworking shop prior to working over 15 years at Target Corp before becoming a stay-at-home Dad. He is preceded in death by his mother, Catherine. Survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Cheryl; children, Zachary, Zoe & Joseph; siblings, John, Jeff, Jim (Patty) & Jeanette; best friends, Scott Thompson & Lowell Atkinson; along with many other loving family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Monday (5/10/2021) at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave from 5 PM – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St, Anoka, doors will open at 10:40 AM for the 11 AM service. Interment will follow Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka.
