Strunge, Jerome T. age 75 of Champlin. Passed away peacefully Nov. 1, 2014 surrounded by his family. Jerry was raised on the farm in Princeton, was married to Joyce Peterson in 1962, and made their home in Champlin, Mn. After farming, Jerry worked at Shamrock Ind. for 28 years, then at Moundsview School Dist. until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed everything to do with the outdoors. He treasured his time with his wife, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jerry is preceded in death by parents, Thomas & Louise; sisters, Beverly Bakos and Marlene Simonsmeier; grandchildren, Reese and Hudsyn Larson. Survived by loving wife, Joyce; daughters, Cheryl (John) Warner and Jeanette (Mark) Luneburg; grandchildren, Katlyn and Jacob Warner, Heather (Tyler) Larson and Hana Luneburg; great-granddaughters, Leighton and Haddie Larson; brother, Dan (Linda) Strunge; sisters, Donna (Roger) Holland and Barbara Strunge; many other family and friends. Funeral service 11 AM Thursday, 11/6/2014, at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, 740 Hayden Lake Road, Champlin. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday, 10/5/2014, at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka. Interment Champlin Cemetery.
