Hawes, Jerome R. of Crystal was born Sept. 9, 1934, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 9, 2022. Survived by children, Susan (Paul) Olson, Jean Kuschel, Charles (Barbara) Hawes, Diane (Russell) Reynolds, Marlene (Mike) Rolf; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchil-dren and 4 great-great-grandchil-dren. Jerry was born in Bird Island, MN, served in the US Army and married his beloved wife Ethel in 1957, staying happily married until her passing in 2003. Jerry worked produce for many years and after retiring kept busy fishing and doing woodworking projects at their lake home. Graveside Services will be at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka on Oct. 14, at 11 a.m. Gathering to follow.
