Weaver, Jenille Evelyn "Jill" of Anoka, age 84, passed away surrounded by her beloved family Saturday, June 4. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John L. Weaver of Anoka; parents Walter and Evelyn Wicklund of Bloomington; and her brother William "Bill" Wicklund of Minneapolis. She will be greatly missed by her children, Jefferson (Robin) Weaver, Sarah (Jeff) Aga, and Martha (Lance) West; along with eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. After graduating from the University of Minnesota as a member of Alpha Delta Pi, she went on to become a teacher and led a busy and active life. Weaver was a pioneer, patron, and proud supporter of many organizations including the Mercy Hospital Auxiliary, Women of the Minnesota Symphony Orchestra, League of Women Voters, Community Concert Association, Philolectian, P.E.O., the Great Books Foundation, Red Cross, Special Olympics Minnesota, and Animal Humane Society. However, she was happiest when hosting family and friends at the family's lake property near Brainerd. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, June 14 at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka, MN, 1601 Fourth Avenue, Anoka MN 55303. 11 a.m. visitation, 12 p.m. funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka.
