Jean E. Hiltz, age 99, of Anoka Minnesota passed away on January 17, 2026. A family graveside service will be held later this spring. Jean was born on October 25, 1926 to parents Fredolph and Zella Johnson. She was raised in Anoka and graduated from Anoka High School in 1945. She married Jack R Hiltz in Anoka on August 9, 1947 where they raised four boys.

Jean was active in the Cub Scouts and work as the elementary secretary at Washington and Dayton Schools in Anoka. Jean loved spending time with family at their cabin on Gull Lake. She also enjoyed socializing, boating, and snowmobiling with her friends.

Jean is survived by Sons Jeffrey (Marcie) Hiltz of Belle Plaine, Tom (Annette) Hiltz of Anoka, Tim Hiltz of Andover, Daughter-in-law Cindy (Jim) Hiltz of Andover, and several grand children and great grand children.

She was preceded in death by parents Fredolph and Zella Johnson, brother Raymond Johnson, husband Jack Hiltz, son James Hiltz, and daughter-in-law Robbie (Tim) Hiltz.
