Jensen, Janice C. "Jan" age 71, of Anoka, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10 after 8 years of living with Lewy Body Disease (LBD). Jan was born on Dec. 31, 1941 in Marshall, MN, and graduated from high school in Sanborn, MN. She went to nurses training in New Ulm, MN, and married Ken Jensen in 1962. In 1966, they moved to Anoka where she was a nurse at the area hospital and clinics. Jan is survived by her husband, Ken; daughters, Laurie (Gregg) Groechel, and Amy (Jim) Hughes; grandchildren, Megan, Marissa, and Mackenzie Groechel, Lauren and Grant Hughes; brother, Gary (Gail) Hagert; sister, Judi (Jon) Wendt. Jan's death was preceded by her parents, George and Loreen Hagert. Funeral service Thursday, 11 AM, with reviewal one hour prior at Anoka United Methodist Church, 850 South St. Visitation Wednesday, 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, West Main St. & Branch Ave., Anoka. Private interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association and the Anoka United Methodist Church.
