Haaf, Janice Marie (McCabe) Age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband and four children Thursday, March 11, 2021 in Tucson, AZ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Merrill & Evelyn McCabe; and her sister, Judy Dumas. Jan is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, LeRoy (Butch) Haaf, and their four children, Patti (Troy) Weitgenant, Mike (Jodie) Haaf, Ann (TJ) Smith, and John (Tania) Haaf; 9 grandchildren, Chris (Erica), Ryan, Erica, Brooke, Josh, Courtney, Noah, Brianna & Maddy; great grandson, Henry; and brother, Jim McCabe; many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Jan was born April 10, 1944 in San Francisco, CA. She moved extensively as a child as a member of a military family. Jan graduated from St. Margaret's High School in Mpls, MN. She married Butch in 1965, and together they raised their four children in Coon Rapids, MN. Jan was a woman of strong faith who was devoted to her family. She loved gatherings with family and friends, watching sporting events, playing cards and bingo, knitting, reading, traveling & going on walks. She especially loved collecting dolls, flowers, and her garden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 22, at 11:00 am, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St, Anoka. Doors to the church open at 10:40 am. Masks and spacing restrictions must be observed. Interment to follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens.
