Janice "Jan" L. Evans age 65 of Andover, MN passed away peacefully in her home on August
19th, 2023 after recurrent battles with cancer. Jan was born on March 29, 1958 in Braham, MN
to Dale & Shirley (Laman) Halberg. She graduated from Coon Rapids High School and later
attended the Carlson School of Management at the University of MN to obtain a degree in
accounting. She spent the majority of her career working as an accountant for
PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) and later retired from Land O' Lakes. After retirement, she
enjoyed spending her time at lake Mille Lacs with family.

Jan was a dedicated football mom who never missed a game, no matter how far she had to
travel. She was active with the football booster club and a proud "cookie mom" for her son's
teams. She loved her family unconditionally and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Laura, son Mark, nephew Jordan Halberg, and
lifelong friend Patti Renollet. She is survived by her husband Douglas "Doug" Evans, sons Mike
(Terese) and Matt Evans, parents Dale & Shirley Halberg, mother-in-law Betty Tainter, brother
Sheldon (Kim) Halberg, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Our Saviors
Lutheran Church, 19001 Jackson Street NE, East Bethel, MN. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to
services. Interment at Cedar Cemetery, Cedar, MN. Memorials preferred.
