DeShaw, Janet A. (Poquette) age 88 of Fridley passed away peacefully November 30, 2020. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Jerry; parents, Connie & Dayle Dusosky; beloved daughter, Amy & sister, Barbara. Survived by her son, Joe (Laurie) Poquette; grandsons, Jeff (Chelsey), Rick (Pamela) and their families; sister, Carol; step-children, Dan (Joyce), Denise (Bill) Lynch, David (Anne), Debbie (Kevin) Doty, Dawn (Bruce) Taylor, Kathy (Juan) Salas, Kim (Marty) Tuttle & Jason (Kim) and their families. Janet found a new love of travel and adventure when she married Jerry 30 years ago, and they visited 51 Countries together. She was a long time member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley. A Private Memorial Service will be held for Janet on Monday (12/7/2020) at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St NW, Andover with the interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of donor's choice.
