Cameron, Janet R. (Orstad) age 77, of Ramsey, passed away peacefully at home on November 13, 2022. She was a retired educator of 38 years within ISD#11. After retiring, Jan enjoyed seeing new places and had been on several trips with more in the planning process. She volunteered regularly at Lord of Life Lutheran Church with multiple events and tasks. She also enjoyed to go out to dinner on Thursday evenings with some of her close friends. She dedicated a lot of her "spare time" to being with her kids, but especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Sean (Ammy) Cameron, Karina (Jesse) Pabst and Joshua (Sarah) Cameron; grandchildren Kody, Brayden, Aubree, Tyler, Erik and Stellan; sister-in-law Kjia Orstad; mother-in-law Erma Cameron; brothers-in-law Doyle, Wade and Frank Cameron, Eugene Quast; sisters-in-law Sheila (Edward) Hag- strom, Tanya Youness and Kim Cameron. 13 nieces and nephews and plethora of great nieces and nephews; many other extended relatives and friends. Jan was preceded in death by her father-in-law Robert Cameron; her loving husband of 39 years Kenneth R. Cameron; her sisters MaryJo Orstad, Helen Quast, Marilynn Melberg; brother Charles (Chuck) Orstad and her parents Raymond and Lorraine Orstad. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 am at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 14501 Nowthen Blvd., Ramsey.
