IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Hugh
Stewart
March 19, 1943 – December 12, 2023
Stewart, James H. "Jim" age 80 of Anoka. Jim was a pioneer in the community education world in Minnesota. He was adamant about getting the
community involved in education. After retirement Jim's passion became servicing others through the church, and golfing with his buddies. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would make your day. Jim's greatest love was his family. He adored his wife Janet and his three daughters. He loved spending time with them. From trying to teach his girls' golf to shopping with his four ladies he was always happiest with his family. Jim was so proud of all his grandchildren. He had an incredibly special relationship with all six of his grandchildren. They all felt like they were his favorite. We will miss our husband, father, grandfather, and hero immensely. Preceded in death by parents Donald & Beatrice, brother Donald, sisters Patricia Turi and Mary Ackerson. Survived by wife Janet, daughters Angela (Ron) Heltemes, Jodie (Drew) English and Nickie (Cory) McClure, grandchildren, Stewart (Rachel) Heltemes, Amber (Mike) Lankford, Logan & Jack English, Brynn & Laci McClure, sisters Judy Wilhelm, Kiki Ernster and Bonnie (Jim) McDonnell, nieces and nephews.
