Myers, James J. age 76 of Anoka, passed away on October 13, 2025 from Alzheimer's Disease.

He was preceded in death by his son, James W. Myers; parents, John C. Myers and Elizabeth L. Myers and niece, Nicole Anderson all of North St. Paul, MN . James is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sally; sons, John (Heather), David (Angela); grandchildren, Jacob (MacKenzie), Madilyn (Donley) Skroch, Amanda (Joe) Raymond, Wes, Avery; great-grandchildren, Emric and Julian.

Jim graduated from North St. Paul High School in 1967 and then went off to Macalester College where he graduated in 1972. He taught high school biology at Anoka Senior High from 1973 – 1979.

Jim later went to work in the medical device industry for 30 years where he was employed by CPI in Arden Hills, MN, Mini Med Technologies, Distronic Medical and Johnson and Johnson.

At the age of 63 Jim retired and began beekeeping as a hobby and he acquired a Master Beekeeping degree from the University of Nebraska. He established a successful business, Cedar Creek Honey for 10 years in Anoka County. During this time he developed Alzheimer's and he remained home with his wife Sally who became his caregiver until May 2025 where he entered Hospice Memory Care.

A Remembrance Memorial is planned for Jim on November 16, 2025 from 3-6 PM at Bunker Hills Activity Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304. There will be a Private burial.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Cure Alzheimer's Fund or Xerces Society.
