James J. "Jim" Junker, age 70 of Andover, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace Hospice Care in St. Paul.

In addition to his parents, Otto and Florence (Voss) Junker, Jim was preceded in death by a daughter, Jodi Junker.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Kitt Junker; daughter, Julie (Joe) Kroll; grandchildren, Colin, Mason, Jaden, Devon, and Kasia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Church of the Epiphany, 11001 Hanson Boulevard NW, Coon Rapids.  Visitation 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover, and one hour prior to Mass at church on Friday (9:30 - 10:30 a.m.)  Private Interment at the Minnesota State Veterans' Cemetery, Camp Ripley.
