"Jim" Brown
June 18, 1948 – May 25, 2022
Jim was reunited with his wife, Donna on May 25 th . He was born into a Marine drill sergeant's home of Roscoe and Bette Brown June 18 th , 1948. Like every good Marine son, he enlisted into the Navy and served on the Arlington and Annapolis during his tour in Vietnam. When on leave he met his wife, Donna Labarre, and were married for 44 years until her passing. After his service he settled in White Bear Lake and worked for Knox Lumber and followed the company to Hermantown. Later, he worked for Camping World in Rogers and Monticello up to his full retirement last year. They lived a full and active life together with snowmobile clubs, bowling, camping, and golf while raising 3 independent, strong, and beautiful daughters. Jim will be remembered for his kind generous heart, love for his family, and pride in his country and military service.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Donna, daughter and son in law, Dawn (Paul) Schultz and siblings Mike Brown and Cherry Mulholland.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Bill) Nagel, and Kris (David) Rauenhorst; Grandsons, Carson and Grant Nagel, and James Rauenhorst; many relatives, "adopted kids", and loving lifelong close friends. Love you papa, Angles Watch.
Funeral Services Friday June 10 th at 11am with visitation at 10am at Maple Grove Lutheran Church 9251 Elm Creek Boulevard, Maple Grove, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
