Fraser, James Henry Age 78, of Blaine, MN, was welcomed into the arms of his Savior on Sat., Jan. 17, 2015. Jim was born in Leeds, ND on May 7, 1936, the second of three children born to Ernest and Tina (Wiebe) Fraser. He graduated from Thompson High School in Thompson, ND in 1954 and married Beverly Johnson of Reynolds, ND on Dec. 29, 1957. Jim served in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958 as a radar operator aboard a RC 121 and was stationed at Otis Air Force Base. Upon discharge from the service, they moved back to Reynolds where they were blessed with five children. Jim was a lifelong employee of the Great Northern Railroad retiring with the BN/Santa Fe Railroad as a VP of Safety & Railway Maintenance in 1991. Jim was a devoted husband who enjoyed sports, electronics, and a good laugh. He and Bev also loved traveling overseas to Europe, Asia and Australia. His passion in life was golfing and even in retirement, he worked at Majestic Oaks and the Links at North Fork. He shared many tee times with friends and family and escaped to Florida each February to golf. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 57 years, Beverly; his five children: Denise (Daniel) Hammond of Cloquet, Lynn Harrie of Fargo, Jim (Terra) Fraser of Andover, Brenda (Bob) Niemann of Andover, Beth (Kevin) Flindall of Victoria; 17 grandchildren: 12 great-grandchil-dren; sisters: Shirley Fields of Callahan, FL and Dolores Brown of Tall Timbers, MD. Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 4th Ave S., Anoka, MN on Friday, January 23 at 11 am.
