James Robert "Jim" Griswold, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2023.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanne; and parents, Arthur and Elisabeth.

He is survived by his children, Trent (Heather) Griswold, J.C. Griswold; grandchildren, Caleb (Kayla) Griswold, Gentle (Anders) Langley, Patience Griswold, Amber Griswold, Gideon Griswold, Mercy Griswold, Blessing Griswold, Judah Griswold, Jesse Griswold, Noah Griswold, Praise Griswold, Hosanna Griswold, Cherish Griswold, Corbin Griswold, Sydney Griswold; great-grandchildren, Comfort, Hezekiah, Zebulon, Isaac Langley, Matthew Langley; brother, Bill; adoptive family, Alan (Amy) Bachman, Phersson Bachman and Joseph Bachman; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Jim and Roxanne were married for over 50 years; she was the love of his life and together they raised their two sons in a loving Christian home. Jim worked at Northwestern Bell for 25 years and he and Roxanne also worked together in their family bicycle business, Wheel Sports. He was a member of Meadow Creek Church for 48 years, where he enjoyed working with youth, teaching Sunday School and serving in leadership. He battled cancer for many years, and his positive attitude and trust in Jesus encouraged and inspired many. He will be missed, but we rejoice that he is now with Jesus, his Savior.

A Funeral Service will be held for Jim at Constance Evangelical Church in Andover, on Thursday, May 25th, starting at 11am with a visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.
