James Edward "Jim" Fields, of Andover, MN passed away on January 18th, 2023 at the age of 81 after a long bout with the disease Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

From a young age and throughout his life Jim was instrumental in the success and growth of the family vegetable farm, Ed Fields and Sons. Jim and his wife Sandra K (Sandy) enjoyed the finer things in life such as traveling, dining out, and spending time with close friends and family until Sandy passed away in 1995. Although Jim and Sandy never had kids of their own, many referred to Jim as a father-figure in addition to being known as a great friend, brother, uncle, mentor, and much more to so many.

Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra K Fields; mother and father, Edward and Lorraine Fields; brother, John "Jack" Fields; sister, Mary Tregnor; sisters-in-law, Delia Hilock and Diane Fields; brothers-in-law, John Tregnor and Richard Boser.

He is survived by his sisters, Jeannie (Bob) Cox and Marjorie Boser; and brothers, Gary Fields, Michael Fields, and Charles Fields.

An evening visitation will be held at Thurston-Lindberg funeral Home in Anoka on Wednesday, January 25 ^th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Anoka the following day, Thursday, January 26 ^th at 11:00 am, with an additional visitation the hour prior.
