Spence, James D. age 86 of Anoka, passed away July 17, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. James was a long time employee at Federal Cartridge in Anoka, and loved dancing and trap shooting, but his true love was spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his first wife, Betty and son Jayme. Survived by his wife, Phyllis; children, DeeAnna; Renee (David) Seltz, Audra (Greg) Taylor; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 step-daughters; 6 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 11 AM with visitation 1 hour prior at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St. Anoka. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to American Cancer Society.
