Croteau, James E. “Jim” age 82 of Coon Rapids passed away on February 7, 2026. Jim was a proud Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy from 1962-1966. He was employed by Federal Cartridge for 39 years and was a successful taxidermy wildlife artist. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Clement and Anna, brother Frank, sister-in-law Maryann, brothers-in-law Ernest Beaudet and Thomas McKay, niece Amy Weicht and nephew Charles McKay. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Joyce (McKay), daughter Michelle, sons Jon (Shirin) and Joseph, granddaughter Melina, grandson Jonny, siblings Allan (Linda), Kenneth, Joan (Greg) Graham, Tina Beaudet, Thomas (Peggy), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gerald (Karen) McKay and Jane (Peter) Dale, many nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 10:30 am at Epiphany Catholic Church, 1900 111th Avenue, NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation one hour prior to Mass at the Church. Interment Epiphany Cemetery.
