Bolte, James M. age 78 of Cedar. Born in Ogilvie, MN, 9/16/36, died at home surrounded by family 2/8/2015. Jim served in the Air Force as a Jet Engine Mechanic from 1956-1960 and was employed at Honeywell/Alliant Tech Systems from 1960-1997 as a machinist. Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, snow-mobiling, 4 wheeling, and traveling the country with Sherry in their RV. He was an active member in the Sno Ghosts Snowmobile Club and served the community as a snowmobile safety and firearms safety instructor. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sherry; sons, Chris (Chalcye), John and Jeff; grandchildren, Codey, Blake, James, Julia, Carter, and Max; brother, Vernon Jr.; sisters, Shirley, Darlene and Fay. Funeral service Wednesday 7 PM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Visitation 2 hours prior to service. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society.
