Baerg, Jacob S. Age 85, of Anoka. Born on a small farm in southern Minnesota Jacob went home to be with his Savior on October 25 after a year-long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by brother Henry and sister Marie. Survived his wife of 54 years, Mildred; brothers, David, Arthur and Paul; sisters Anna and Tilly; sons Robert (Julie) and William (Darla); grandchildren Breanna (Jon), Daniel, Joshua, Samuel, Tirzah, Caroline, Brittany, Savannah and Jacob. He worked for the City of Mpls for 28 years. Jacob strengthen and encouraged others in their spiritual walks as a teacher and Elder at Immanuel Baptist in Mpls and First Baptist of Anoka. A memorial service 11 AM Thurs, Oct 30, 2014 with visitation 1 hour prior, all at First Baptist Church of Anoka 1235 Park St. Thurston-Lindberg 763-421-0220
