Irene Veronica Soltis age 87 of Blaine was born in Holdingford, Minnesota on August 20, 1936 to Bernard & Mildred Rakotz. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids on September 28, 2023. Irene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Daniel, children Tammy Lautizi, Mark (Elaine) Soltis and Jill (Jamie) Rockstad, grandchildren Corilinn (Nate) Johnson, Julia (Will) King, Jesse (Molly) Rockstad and Cole (Sidney) Rockstad, great-grandchildren Paige, Jett, Regan, Altin, Hayden and Millie, brother Marvin (Phyllis) Rakotz, sister Joyce McCue, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 with visitation at 1 pm followed by a service at 2 pm at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street, NW, Andover.
