Helen M. Schantzen, age 91 of Champlin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Wellstead of Rogers.

In addition to her parents, Melvin and Olga (nee Windahl) Broten, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Wilford Schantzen; and grandson, Nichalos Rogness.  She is survived by her children, Gary Schantzen, Greg (Mary) Schantzen, Candace Schantzen, and Holly (Lester) Welch; grandchildren, Tracy, Kelly, Mike, Kristi, Dena, Ron, Sara, Brady, Eric; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Dennis) Pedersen.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27 , 2018 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 a.m.)  Interment at Champlin Cemetery.
