Hazel E. Madaris, age 81 of Ramsey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope.

Hazel was a free spirit, an artist, and a great Mom.  She is survived by her sons, Michael (Richelle) and Timothy; grandchildren, Shane (Julie), Laura, and Veronica; great-grandchildren, Maddy, Molly, and Derrick.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka.  Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service (1-2 p.m.)  Private Interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Treatment and Research Center, 640 Jackson Street, St. Paul, MN 55101
