Harriet A. Westlund, age 84 of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Lino Lakes Assisted Living.

In addition to her parents, Henry and Agnes (Knutson) Halvorsen, Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger; sister, Lorraine Halvorsen; and daughter-in-law, Deb Westlund.  She is survived by her children, Alan (Maryhelen), Dan (Kat), Gary (Mary), and Todd; grandchildren, Gina (Jeremy) Lund, Ashley (Chris) Bailey, Jessica (Justin) Szmanda, Emma, Alex, and Jesse Westlund, Billy and MiKayla Krysinski; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Melland, Darlene Anderson, and Shirley Hein; also many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW, Andover.  Visitation one hour prior to the service (5:00 - 6:00 p.m.)  Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
