Gregory J. Peterson, age 51 of Anoka, MN passed away at home surrounded by family and friends due to complications of ALS on 8/13/2022.  He was a graduate of Anoka High School in 1989 and received his BA degree from Bethel University in 1993.  Greg was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend.  He enjoyed watching his children's sports, golfing, cheering on the Wild, listening to music, spending time with family at the cabin, playing and coaching basketball, and his job as an accomplished realtor.  Greg was devoted to his family, friends, church, and work.  He will be deeply missed.  Preceded in death by his brother, Kent.  Survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Cally and Connor; parents, John and Arlene Peterson; sister, Kitri Boser and many other family and friends.  In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to his family or a charity of choice.  Visitation Celebration will be held at Thurston-Deshaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover on Friday, Sept 9th, 2022 from 4-7pm.  A time of remembrance/tributes will be at 5:30pm.

Greg has touched so many people throughout his life.  The family would like to put together a scrapbook filled with the memories people have of Greg.  Please bring pictures, written out memories, or notes that could be included in this album.  There will also be a table designated for this purpose if you choose to write something at the visitation. This special book will be cherished as something that could be shared with future generations as a way to celebrate what Greg meant to so many people.
