Vikse, Gordon Brent (Butch) age 68, died on August 27, 2020 in Tulsa, OK. Preceded in death by father Sigurd Vikse. Gordy was a brilliant coder and software engineer, but his friends and family will remember him most for his kind heart, generosity, and willingness to help anyone at any time. His software consulting took him from California to Florida. He settled in Tulsa, OK. In his younger years, he was an avid bicyclist, from trails to mountain biking in Montana. He loved to sail, the ocean in Florida to lake sailing in Tulsa. He preceded his mother in death. He is survived by sisters Susan Vikse, Kristen Trelles (Anthony), Sara Vikse Brenton (Gary), brother Jon Vikse, nieces Susan Jeanne Trelles, Rachael Doucette, Heather Bowser, Kelsey and Jessica Vikse, and his nephew David Trelles; his Oklahoma family, Charish, Nevaeh and Sylis, and his beloved dogs Onyx and Clyde.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
