Alstrup, Gloria Hope (nee Belitz) age 90 of NE Mpls, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2015. She is preceded in death by husband, Jack. Survived by children, Jackie (Chuck) Osterud, Jill (Tom) Holmes, Jayne (Tim) Taylor, and John (Raquel) Alstrup; 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends. She spent 5 years in the 1940s at Glen Lake Sanitorium fighting TB. She worked for Hennepin County in Special Assessments until her retirement in 1989. She was a child of God and was on her church council, made quilts for those in need and was on the Altar Guild. She was an avid reader, worked the daily crossword puzzle, played Scrabble, cribbage and 500. Funeral service Friday 11 AM with reviewal 1 hour prior at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western St., Anoka. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave, Anoka. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
