Montan, Gerald S. "Gerry" age 62 of Andover. Preceded in death by parents Robert & Delia and brother Tom. Survived by wife Andrea, children Max (Alicia), Sarah (Tyler) and Emilie, granddaughter Carly, siblings Nancy (Leonard) Floberg and Jim Montan as well as nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Avenue, Anoka with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Memorials preferred. Gerry spent part of his childhood growing up in Fargo, North Dakota and then moved to the Twin Cities where he graduated from Park Center High School. He worked in many different trades including: painting, construction, retail, and warehouse work. Gerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending summers up at the cabin and taking trips to Vegas. He never said no to sitting out on the driveway on summer nights with good friends and neighbors. He was also an avid NDSU Bison fan. He was enthusiastic about seeing his children grow up, celebrating their milestones, and supporting them along the way. Gerry cared deeply for those around him and will be missed dearly.
