Smothers, Gerald D. "Jerry" age 87 of Anoka, passed away peacefully March 30, 2019. Preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother. Jerry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan; children, Chris (Cindi), Marcia (Barry) Dunning, Ron (Jill), Dan (Paula); 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, David (Cathy); along with many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday (4/8/2019) at Advent Lutheran Church, 540 E. River Road, Anoka, with a visitation one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Anoka. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Advent Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
