Gerald William Blumhoefer age 80 of Coon Rapids passed away on January 4, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. He was born in Rush City, Minnesota on February 25, 1944 to George and Genevieve (Jandl) Blumhoefer. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Esther Knapp, Helen Anderson and Ray & Tom Blumhoefer. He is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny" , sons Richard (Mary) and Mark (Lisa), granddaughter Marissa (Anders) Skaalerud, great-granddaughters Lena & Maja, nieces and nephews. In keeping with Gerald's wishes private family services will be held.
