George A. Plew, age 84 of Coon Rapids, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.

George was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Janet Plew; parents Floyd and Gladys (nee Neal) Plew; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.  He is survived by sons, William (Char) Plew, George (Trina) Plew; daughter, Carol (Dale) Carlson; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of George's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 20 , 2018 at First Baptist Church, 1235 Park Street, Anoka.  Visitation one hour prior to the service at church (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)  Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
