Kinney, George V. age 78, of East Bethel, passed away peacefully Oct. 6, 2012 surrounded by his family after a courageous 13 year battle with colon cancer. He was an avid golfer and sportsman. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Nancy Fisher; and brother, Ron. Survived by loving wife of 39 years, Joan; children, Lynnette Kinney, Sherree (John) Steffens, Brian, Bruce (Kelly) and Trent (Tara); 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 7 siblings. Funeral service Friday 11 AM with reviewal one hour prior at Eagle Brook Church, 8498 Sunset Rd., Spring Lake Park.
