George W. Huebner, Jr., age 75 of Oak Grove entered into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on November 10, 2025. George lived a life marked by generosity, kindness and a love for adventure. He found great joy with his love of motorcycles, tackling any home project, hard work and even greater joy in giving his time to help others. Whether volunteering in his community or lending a hand to family or friends, George's generous spirit touched countless lives. George knew his Creator is a good God. Though he faced deep struggles that many did not see, his love and devotion to his family were steady and sincere. We take comfort in knowing that George is now at peace in the presence of Jesus, where there is no more pain, only perfect love and light. George will be deeply missed by his wife Joanie of 33 years, family, and all blessed to know him. Preceded in death by father George, mother Margaret and sister Chari Danielson. Survived by wife Joanie, sister Kathy Lewis, brother Steve, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and countless friends. A service celebrating George's life will be held at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay Street NW in Andover on Monday November 24, 2025 at 11 am with Pastor Steve Brower officiating. Visitation one hour prior to services. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and thanksgiving for the life of a beloved husband, brother, uncle, friend, and servant-hearted man. In lieu of flowers, in George's honor, the family asks that donations be made to Purple Heart Foundation www.purpleheartfoundation.org
