Thorson, Gary L. age 70 of St. Francis, passed away peacefully March 21, 2013. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He taught for 35 years in Farmington where he also enjoyed coaching many sports. He was an avid golfer and owned his own golf course in Fosston, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, and his 2 brothers, Jim and Lloyd. Survived by his loving wife, Ardith; children, Lee (Kristi) Thorson, Lynn Fellerman and Teri Thorson; grandchildren, Alex, Devon, Ben and Nate Fellerman, Michael, Kyla, and Tyler Thorson. Funeral Service Wed., 11 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St. NW, Andover. Reviewal Tuesday, 5-8 PM at funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to MN Teen Challenge.
