Frances Emma Edel, age 87 of Champlin, Mn. Born Nov. 17, 1924 in Montgomery, Mn. and died Mar. 23, 2012 at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope. Preceded in death by husband, Richard; parents, John & Emma Zoubek, and brother, John. Survived by children, Richard, Jr. (Diane) and Kathleen (Lowell) Nelsen; grandchildren, Michelle (Art) Aytay, Richard Edel, III (Sarah), Amanda (Michael) Cambronne, and Kristine (David) Zelinski; great-grandchildren, Katie Aytay, Anders Cambronne, Isabella Edel, Emma and Logan Zelinski; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka. Visitation Sunday 4-8 PM at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka. Private interment Fort Snelling Cemetery. Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home 763-421-0220
